Academic Centers of Excellence
In 2000, CDC's Division of Violence Prevention funded 10 National Academic Centers of Excellence on Youth Violence Prevention at universities around the United States. The Academic Centers of Excellence, or ACEs, bring together resources and experts from varied backgrounds to study youth violence issues, share solutions, and work with communities to prevent youth violence.
